Community Education

Pearl S. Buck International brings the world closer together by educating individuals and families through community programming so that they can create a meaningful impact in their homes, schools and community at large. Many community programs target scout troops, homeschoolers, and writers and can be found on our Event Calendar.

The High School Leadership Program is open to local high school students entering 9th, 10th, and 11th grade who are committed to making lifelong contributions within the community equipped with effective leadership skills learned in the program. Sessions are held in the spring, summer and fall.  Learn more and download the application.

Cultural education is elementary in the Summer Culture Camps. Children in 1st through 6th grades are invited to understand and appreciate other cultures by discovering the language, food and customs in a week-long summer camp. Culture camps are ideal for adoptees and their siblings who want to deepen their understanding of their heritage. Registration is open now.

Bring the education programs into your classroom with a series of dynamic school outreach programs.

The Community Education programs can complement your homeschool curriculum. Whether it is a history lesson or a field trip experience you want for your homeschooler, the Homeschool Programs can fill your educational needs.
