| The Opportunity House humanitarian assistance program is focused primarily in Asia serving children and their families in China, the Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. Working in coordination with our country affiliate offices, we provide services aimed at enabling children and their families access to basic healthcare and education. |
- Partnering with the Zhenjiang Welfare Center
- Provides an annual donation to the Tomorrow Plan, a fund established to aid medical treatments for children living in orphanages in China
- Collected over 300 books in English for Zhenjiang Middle Schools #1 & #2
- Provided educational scholarships for students in China

Pearl S. Buck Foundation Taipei, Taiwan (PSBF-TT) emerged independent of PSBI in 1997 and became an affiliate of PSBI in 2006.

PSBF-TT provides services to biracial children and children from poor single parent families including counseling, financial stipends, scholarships, referrals to other support organizations, and social opportunities.

PSBF-TT provides services to foreign brides including language instruction cultural classes, similar to "English as Second Language" programs in the US. The language classes also include pointers on social customs and interaction. PSBF-TT also supports a toll-free hotline service in six languages for foreign brides.

Vietnam
- Providing assistance to children since 1971
- PSBI is one of the oldest International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGO) in Vietnam
- Provides subsidized meals and children's activities to orphans living in Hanoi and Hanam provinces
- Provided Hepatitis B vaccinations, educational assistance and vocational training
- The Community Based Integration of Children with Disabilities Project funded by USAID expanded the Deaf and Hearing Impaired Inclusive Education grant to other children with disabilities. The grant also allowed PSBI to work in the Central Highlands area of Kon Tum
