Become a Volunteer
with Pearl S. Buck International

Pearl S. Buck International® offers varied volunteer opportunities for individuals who are looking to be a part of its mission through membership in the Pearl S. Buck Volunteer Association.
Adults who want to share their time, talent, and enthusiasm can pursue varied volunteer assignments as trained tour guides (Docents) for the Pearl S. Buck House, retail roles in the International Gift Shop, special events assistance, assignments within the Pearl S. Buck Writing Center®, office or administrative tasks, and gardening opportunities. No experience necessary; all training, information, and guidance are provided.
The Pearl S. Buck Volunteer Association offers scheduling flexibility for working professionals in transition, retired citizens, stay-at-home moms and teens who would like to get involved, learn something new, and meet new people. The Association offers social activities to build camaraderie, meetings with guest speakers, a monthly book club, and many volunteer opportunities to deepen your personal knowledge of Pearl S. Buck, her philosophies and legacy. In addition to personal fulfillment and fellowship, members receive an International Gift Shop discount, four annual newsletters, invitations to three general meetings each year, and an invitation to the annual holiday party and volunteer appreciation luncheon.
