Pennsylvania Antique Appraisers Association Bios

Dale Comisarow has 35 years experience handling antique furniture, artwork, primitives, coin operated mechanical machines, and architectural/garden items. Dale and his wife are located at the Painted Shutter in New Britain, Pa.

William D'Anjolell is a certified appraiser with the National Auctioneers Association. His expertise is in artwork, historical & political antiques, ceramics, American pottery, glass, metalware, toys, and all types of ephemera such as paper, posters, programs, and tickets. D’Anjolell graduated from Rider University with a B.S. in Commerce and owns Imagine Antiques & Appraisals. Currently, Bill is the President of the Bucks County Antiques Dealers Association which boasts 44 members in Bucks County and the surrounding area.

Ashley King is a master clock collector, repairer and restorer.  Born in the Cooperstown and Leatherstocking area of New York, he began collecting and dealing in antiques at a very early age. His Air Force enlistment resulted in a move to Europe where he became interested in antiques and clocks.  After leaving the military, King opened several antique shops and is an authority in the science of time keeping.  Ashley has served several terms as instructor at the National Clock and Watch Museum in Columbia, Pa and is a certified appraiser of antique clocks. He is in demand for auction, museum, and private appraisals.

Daniel Worden is the President of the Pennsylvania Antiques Appraisers Association.  He has over 30 years experience as an antique dealer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania doing business as Sloane Square Antiques in Lahaska and Hawley, Pennsylvania, as well as Lafayette, Hopewell, and Lambertville, New Jersey. Worden’s current location is The Silver Solution in the Peoples Store in Lambertville, New Jersey, where he has one of the largest selections of silver between Baltimore and New York City. Mr. Worden has a MS from Southern Illinois University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin. Dan does estate, donation and insurance appraisals, specializing in American, English, and Sheffield sterling silver, coin silver, silver plate, pewter, china board antiques, and collectibles.

Amy Parenti is the head of appraisals for the Trusts and Estates Department at Freeman’s.  Amy has been with Freeman’s since 2005 developing her skills within the Appraisals Department and as a Specialist within our Americana Department.  With a passion for art and a special interest in American Silver, Modern Furniture and Decorative Arts, Amy has developed a keen eye for identifying value.   Within the Trusts & Estates Department, Amy shares her knowledge and passion with estate attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, trust officers and related professionals.  As a member of several estate planning councils in and around Philadelphia, Amy is responsible for building awareness of Freeman’s auction and appraisal services.
