Pearl S. Buck International upholds Pearl S. Buck’s legacy in the United States by hosting more than 22,000 visitors each year to the national historic landmark site, the Pearl S. Buck House.  With your help, together we are committed to providing opportunities to explore and appreciate other cultures through culture camps, high school leadership programs and by aligning with other cultural events such as the International Spring Festival.  We are a resource for Adoptive families who want to immerse themselves in other languages and explore their child’s birthplace culture.

Pearl S. Buck spent her life elevating the humanity of unknown peoples, which is the basis for all Diversity and Inclusion programs of today. As the organization charged with continuing her legacy, Pearl S. Buck International is proud to offer “The Welcome Workplace.” It is our model for helping organizations and academic institutions establish inclusive work and learning environments. Whether you need assistance addressing an immediate issue or want ongoing workshops to build organizational intercultural competency, we offer solutions. Click HERE to learn more.

Published authors and inspiring writers participate in writing workshops and conferences where they can hone their writing craft. A year round calendar of events is full of activities for both the young and young at heart. Donors, Members, Corporate Partners, Child Sponsors, Champions for Children, and all in the community, are invited to attend three annual signature events.

Businesses and corporations can become actively involved in a shared mission which provides opportunities to explore and appreciate other cultures, builds better lives for children around the globe and promotes the legacy of our founder by preserving and interpreting her National Historic Landmark home.
