Pearl S. Buck Volunteer Association

The Pearl S. Buck Volunteer Association (PSBVA) is a 501(c)3 organization that supports the mission of Pearl S. Buck International through special events, community programs, gift shop revenue, and by sharing Pearl S. Buck’s legacy with tours of the Pearl S. Buck House. The Association welcomes new members and hosts orientation sessions throughout the year. Volunteer assignments vary, but all assignments provide the opportunity to impact others by contributing to the Pearl S. Buck International mission while in the company of staff and other volunteers. Register to attend an orientation session here.

The PSBVA offers optional association membership. Individuals may volunteer at Pearl S. Buck International without joining the Association, however membership offers individuals added benefits including 10% off in the International Gift Shop. Dues are $10 for a regular member, $2 for students, and $15 for “friends” who do not volunteer but support the association.  The membership dues enable the Association to sponsor four children through the Pearl S. Buck International child sponsorship program and fund the publication of the quarterly newsletter and membership directory. Quarterly membership meetings and other special events including a Chinese New Year Celebration are held throughout the year.
